Avoid Distraction

Bright colored ties with printed designs on it or large jewelry items may distract interviewers from concentrating on your interview. This may be suitable for a job in the style industry. For an interview your dress should impress without distracting others.

A job at a finance company or a software company may have a different dress codes than a technical company. Find out what is the suitable workplace dress code and present yourself for the interview as if you are coming for the first day at work.
