Skills needed to survive in your current job






To be successful and to survive in their current job employees need to acquire certain key skills.
Reasoned Analysis: Computers can automate many tasks or jobs, but they can't perform reasoned analysis, in which humans excel.
Adaptability: working effectively with groups of people needs the ability to adapt and understand language and behaviour.
Effective thinking: finding answers to unexpected situations, in high-skill professional / technical roles or in lower-skill roles.
Cross-cultural adaptability: Able to work in different linguistic or cultural settings, including different generations or people with varied skills and working styles.
Virtual team coordination: developing strategies for virtual team working, providing immediate feedback.
Computational thinking: Increased data necessitates the need to understand it, and to make decisions based on it.
Use of Media: developing content with non-text communication, such as video or audio.
Managing Mental Effort: use filtering techniques and tools to handle the information overload.
Multidisciplinary: working in multiple careers help understanding different fields.
Work Environment: Physical environments may affect mood, the ability to plan work environments for different tasks will allow employees to perform at their best.
