Stress interviews are usually conducted by professionals with years of interviewing experience. This can be sometimes very difficult to the job seeker.

Stress interviews consists of psychological assessments to find out how job seekers react under pressure.
Stress interviews may not be announced in advance as these interviews are conducted to find out how people react during stressful, and unexpected circumstances. Such interviews are conducted to find out job seekers reaction when they are  without adequate preparation.

·  Employing painful or aggressive questioning. For example, an interviewer may ask question, such as "why were you sent out from your last job?" Or, "Was stress a reason for leaving your last job?"
·  The interviewer may ask the same question again and again, pretending not to fully understand your prior answer.
·  At present more interviewers are beginning to conduct brainteaser or puzzle interviews.
·  In the case interview you have to face a real-world business situation, or dilemma. It's your job to come up with a solution and explain.

Interviewers act strangely while conducting stress interviews. Expect the following while a stress interview is on:

·  Remain uninterested
·  Avoiding eye contact with candidates

·         Do not think that you are being offended. Interviewers wants to know how you handle criticism.
·         Act professionally.
·         Answer questions with clarity.



·         Do not always look for the"right"answer, trying to find solutions for the problems is more important.
·         Be frank, honest, direct and polite.
·         Ask for information when it's necessary.
